Making a new copy of a Git project.

I wanted to clone a project into a new project. Gitlab apparently does not always work depending on setup.

First, clone the project locally that you want to duplicate/rename.

You may want to only rename the original repository:
  git remote rename origin upstream
Otherwise remove the reference to the original repository:
  git remote rm origin
Add a reference to your own repository:
  git remote add origin your-project-url

See git help remote for more informations.

Now you just need to push this to your-project-url
  git push origin master --force
