dealing with mysql limits/errors/configurations

You may need to update your my.cnf (mysql configuration file) to deal with limitations in mysql.
Here are a couple examples...


/etc/my.cnf #add these...


# ERROR 2006 (HY000): MySQL server has gone away
max_allowed_packet=64M# maybe a wait timeout....
wait_timeout = 28800
interactive_timeout = 28800

# ERROR 1118 (42000) at line ####: Row size too large (> 8126).
# make it 10 times larger than largest blob.
innodb_log_file_size=512M
